HALLOWEEN 2023 Recap - utopia

I really enjoyed this Halloween season. This year, Halloween began on October 18, with my first costume being a demon princess that I wore to Night #2 ofTravis Scott’s CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour. It was an amazing night. Travis Scott concerts are always crazy and exciting. This is my second time seeing him since ASTROWORLD at the AAC in 2018.

I came into the concert anxious to see Teezo Touchdown open the show. I loved his feature on “MODERN JAM” didn’t realize he was the genius behind my favorite “anti-littering” PSA I watched back in 2020! Teezo opened up his performance with “5 o’ Clock” which had me wayyyy more lit that I expected. Through out this performance, Teezo teased us with naming the artists that he’s done features with so far. I left the concert the concert with two Teezo songs added to my playlist, “Luckily I’m Having” with Don Toliver and “UHHH” from Teezo’s debut album, “How do you Sleep at Night?”!

Next was Travis’ performance which was exciting and energetic as usual. One of the best parts about Travis shows is the audience! Many people don’t know this about me but I love to RAGE. I live to RAGE. I enjoyed singing and raging along with fellow fans.
I came into the show looking forward to hearing “MODERN JAM”, “MY EYES”, “GOD’S COUNTRY”, “I KNOW ?”, “CIRCUS MAXIMUS”, and “K-POP”. For the first half of his show, he played all the songs in order that they appear of the album, and then after “SIRENS”, shit got CRAZY!! Before hearing “MELTDOWN”, Travis revisted a lot of the songs he released after ASTROWORLD to now like “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM” and “MAFIA” (which he delightfully played twice”. “MELTDOWN” went crazy. Because I sat up high, I got to see the general admission floor seating moshpit wave hit the crowd! To my suprise, Travis played '“DELRESTO” ft. Beyonce, during an intermission that gave me so much life. I was that he didn’t perform “K-POP” but I left the show really falling in love with “TELEKENISIS”.

I hate that I wait till Halloween to dress how I really want! I wore a demon horns headband and a studded harness from PRETTYLITTLETHING.com, a blackbody suit that I’ve had for years, and a black tutu that I purchased from PARTY CITY! This outfit came out so good that I think I might wear it again for the Lil Uzi Vert concert at the end of this month!
